The Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) is the professional body for all practicing visual artists in Nigeria. It exists to encourage and promote Nigerian artists and serves as a platform for them to air their views and contribute positively to national development.
The SNA Edo State Chapter is a branch of SNA catering for members who are trained, indigens and non-indigens but who reside in Edo State.

The Society of Nigerian Artists engenders the highest standards of scholarship, creativity, criticism and teaching of the visual arts in Nigeria to encourage intellectual advancement and the development of skills that enrich visual arts professionals and their contribution to national development.
